Newsletter spring 2008
After the winter holidays the children did not come back with the same enthusiasm, but they were lucky, because we still had snow, which allowed us to make a snowmen contest in the foundation’s garden. All the children have received prizes and diplomas. The school semester began with many lessons for children, but they managed to get used to it. Now the weather is getting warm and sunny, the trees are blossoming and the time is great for children to play outside in our yard. On the 8th of Mars we celebrated the international day of the woman and we invited the children’s mothers and the children gave their mothers a present made by themselves and a card. Everybody was very happy. In Romania the Easter is on the 27th-28th of April this year and we have already begun the repetitions for the celebration organized with this occasion. Children prepare to sing many beautiful songs and to recite poems, to make a great surprise to their parents, who are all invited and together with them we’ll enjoy the Holy Day and remember together the supreme sacrifice of Jesus for us all. Hardly had the weather become warm outside that the children already think of the summer holiday. They are waiting forward to meeting the groups of volunteers who will become their friends and also to meet their old friends. They already ask us about the persons that are to come, when they will arrive and were will they go together. The children are not the only ones who miss you, we are waiting forward to seeing you again and we pray that God minds that everything will be alright. Ovidiu, Viorica & children.
